The traditions of baby welcoming in my country always change as the people's minds changed.In the past,the whole family would stay at hospital and wait for the boby's coming.Grandparents would prepare some interesting things for their future grandson which were usually related to health,even they willful prepared some boy's or girl's items to pray for the boby's gender.But all the things have changed a lot since the 80's appeared on the stage.The young couples usually check up regularly until the expected date coming then they go to the hospital without their parents.After a few days waiting they will see their boby with huge happy no matter it is a boy or girl.Three to five days later,they go back home.But we still keep a tradition all the time,the mothers should saty at home with thick clothes and without taking a bath for over one month then are allowed to go outside.It has been proved to be be good for the women who just give a birth to a boby.It can keep them from a lot of diseases in the next many years.Some easterners began to follow this old Chinese tradition.I also recommend it to you.When the boby is one month old,the couple will invite some friends and relatives to come and have a party to celebrate the boby's brith.In some regions,they celebrate it when the boby is 100 days old.It means the adorable boby can open eyes,smile and begin to be curious about the world.
