Hi! My name is Tania. I’m 33 years old and I live in Mexico City.
I love learning languages. Currently, I have an intermediate level (B2) in English and a low intermediate level in Japanese (JLPT N3). For me, it’s amazing to know about other cultures and connect with people from all over the world.
I also really enjoy reading, listening to music and watching movies or series.Ich als Lehrkraft
I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literatures in UNAM and a certified in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Now, I also have a Master degree in Japanese Studies. My speciality is poswar literature.
In my University I made professional practices in CEPE (Spanish for Foreigners Center) and I wrote my final essay about teaching Spanish to japanese students.
For 2 years I taught Spanish to foreigners in a school in Mexico City. And now, I've been teaching on Italki for three years.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
In my own experience learning languages, I can understand this way is as exciting as scary. That's why I’m a very patient teacher.
In a general course we’ll practice the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), besides grammar. Or if you need it, we can focus on just one skill.
We’ll use authentic texts, magazines, music, videos, games and material according to your interests. In general courses we can choose a textbook.
I hope my classes are a safe space for everyone.
