Hello! My name is Khalil, a native English speaker from London
I specialize in helping Japanese learners of English speak more confidently and naturally.
I’ve been studying Japanese for over 5 years, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language — especially speaking with confidence. Because I’m also a language learner, I know what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure of what to say.
My lessons focus on natural conversation, clear explanations, and correcting common mistakes Japanese learners make. Japanese support is available when helpful.

I have two years of experience teaching English as an assistant teacher at primary and secondary schools, where I supported students in developing their language skills. In 2024 I completed the Level 5 TEFL course, which taught me very useful and effective teaching methods to help students learn more effectively.
My teaching philosophy is all about creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to learn and grow. I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student’s needs and goals, whether that’s improving pronunciation, understanding grammar, or building conversational fluency.
