Hi! ¡Hola! Oi! My name is Joe, and I'm from the United States of America.
I use Immersion style, Story-Telling, Focus on being Communicative and gradually more accurate as opposed to trying to avoid every little mistake, TPRS, Comprehensible Input, and Proficiency-oriented methods.
I have lived in Spain, Chile, Brasil, and Korea. I speak native English, C2 Spanish, B2 Portuguese, and A2 French. I want to learn Italian next. I enjoy being social with my family, friends, and students.Ich als Lehrkraft

I taught English and Spanish in the classroom for the last 15 years. I have 5 years of experience teaching online. I have earned my advanced Masters degree in bilingual Education and my credentials to teach Spanish and English. I have taught children, adolescents, university students, and adults of all ages. I try and make myself understood using Comprehensible Input: through gestures,writing words/drawings,adjusting my speed/complexity according to the level and needs of my students. I use Comprehensible Input, TPRS, Stories, Proficiency-oriented methods. We acquire languages by absorbing tons of rich, spoken + written messages. Instead of drilling verb conjugations, students internalize the grammar and vocab *naturally. From day one, I give students the space to listen, make mistakes, *not* be nervous, be curious, improve, and speak with more confidence + ease.
