As a french community tutor, my goal is to help you improve yourself in this beautiful language, which is so often said to be tough, and try to make things much easier for you, anytime you encounter a difficulty. Learning a language (particularly from the start) is much work. It usually takes time, but it has to be done in the most comfortable way for you, according to your own needs and availability.

Listening to you first is the key step of my teaching method.
Whether you don't know a word of french - and actually need to start from the basics -, or maybe practice free conversation already, you are the one who needs to speak, and I'm here to analyse what you need most in order to improve yourself in french as efficiently as possible.
Of course, we can also work on pronunciation, reading and grammar when needed, but free conversation (even for a beginner) has to remain the key exercise.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

I have several tutors and am learning several languages and Stan is the best. He tells stories that increase my vocabulary and knowledge of phrases in just the right way to push my listening skills but still within my level and he makes me comfortable to speak french (a confidence I struggle with). He has just the right balance of encouragement and correction. Totes my fave!

Fantastic and exactly what I wanted. A conversation with correction of my spoken French. I am gaining confidence to talk and not worry too much about mistakes, and also starting to see patterns of mistakes that I make that have not been corrected before.

I´ve been with Stan to learn French for two years. Starting where I could only do the basics in French and didn´t felt comfortable at all speaking in French. And now I speak good French and we focus on little grammatical errors I make. Stan can support through all those phases, and always looks again and what I need for now. Highly recommended!
