Hi! My name is Dylan and I am from Cape Town, South Africa.
I am an ESL teacher passionate about helping people achieve their language learning goals. I am keenly interested in meeting people from different parts of the world to experience different cultures and discover the beauty of this world. During my journey as a teacher, I have met people from across the world and it is an absolute joy to help them improve their English and learn about their lives, culture and country.

I believe that the most effective way for someone to improve their spoken English is through general conversations. As a teacher, I tend to build a rapport with students and discover their hobbies and interests to incorporate them into lessons. This makes it a fun and relatable learning experience. I assess the language level of my students through these conversations and look for core areas that the student needs to improve on such as grammar and pronunciation. During my lessons, I focus purely on the student's primary needs. I generally have a question-and-answer structure in order to maximize conversations and assess language skills. However, I am flexible and open to trying other methods on students' requests. I generally initiate the conversations and correct grammar and pronunciation throughout the lesson. The IELTS lesson mostly consists of practice and feedbacks, which is exactly what I need and what helps the most. Dylan is a patient and helpful tutor, not only did he give me corrections but he also gives me strategies. It's a nice experience!

Hi, I'm from Poland and I spoke a little English but I wanted to get to a higher level. I must say that he is an amazing teacher, he helped me a lot in gaining self-confidence.
