I have now had eight lessons with Julie and I can't recommend her enough! She meets you where you are but challenges you to move to the next level. Typically, our 30-minute sessions consist of a 15-minute conversation and then a 15-minute review of my homework (a written response to a video). She is easy to talk to and has helped me feel more confident with my French. Merci, Julie!

I needed an opportunity to practice speaking and my work with Julie K is the experience I needed. Sometimes we talk about topics related to my work, which give me an opportunity to practice the related vocabulary. Other times we talk about daily and general topics. The conversation is always flowing, engaging, and enjoyable. We have a shared document where JK writes expressions, vocabulary, etc. for me to review later on. Overall, it's working very well for me. I look forward to my lessons with her.

I look forward to my unstructured conversations with Julie. This is ideal practice for social situations where you might have limited shared cultural references. Julie maintains a record of vocabulary words and corrections in a document that I can refer back to. I feel much more confident in my ability to communicate in French after every session.
