Magdalena es simpática, interesante y fácil de tratar. Revisamos un artículo en español como punto de partida para nuestras conversaciones, pero siempre encontramos temas divertidos de los que hablar.

Today we talked about the weather and how the weather impacts our feelings and activities using one of the slides that Magdalena had sent to me. I practiced reading and explaining what I understood - We talked about where I live and where we go as a family on holiday – we discussed what we did as a family – what we ate and the different parts of the coast in Southwest Britain. This was quite hard, finding the vocabulary and the correct link words – but non the less enjoyable as I felt I had made some progress in fielding questions understanding and responding – still hard to find the right words under pressure – lots of correcting or helping me to expand on the answers that I managed. Still an issue to recall words and make sentences quickly, under pressure - but once again I really enjoyed this session. Thanks Magdalena.

We talked about where I live and the different rooms and furniture in the house. We used some slides which Magdalena sent as homework to prompt and check understanding as we went – still hard to find the right words under pressure – but non the less very enjoyable to begin to speak in sentences about simple concepts. Magdalena used another slide to ask questions and check comprehension – correcting or helping me to expand on the answers I managed. Still an issue to recall words and make sentences quickly, under pressure - but I really enjoyed this session. Thanks Magdalena – Look forward to more work on quicker recall - as well as a better confidence and competence in forming better sentences and articulating ideas when speaking Spanish.
