The Student Mentor and Language Enthusiast with 2 years of working experience in Education Hi, I’m Paul, a native Czech speaker from Znojmo, now based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. I’m fluent in Czech and English and have 2+ years of experience as a Student Mentor, helping international students improve their language skills. My lessons are tailored to your goals: conversation, grammar, pronunciation, or interview prep. I focus on practical speaking while also improving accuracy. In our first lesson, I assess your level and create a personalised plan. I teach all levels and create a friendly, supportive environment to help you build confidence and progress. I discovered my passion for teaching during my university experience as Student Mentor, which required me to work with international students who often needed guidance and help with the English language. I have worked with students of different abilities; some required more help than others. I am friendly and supportive, and we will work on improving your Czech language skills! My learning style is to set up learning around students' needs - because why would I teach you something you don't want to know, right? I believe that one of the best ways to learn a language is through conversation, but we can practice grammar, pronunciation and other aspects too. In the first lesson, I will evaluate your current language skills, and we will set your goals and aims. Then we can plan our lessons further.
