Really enjoying these lessons and feel that I am learning words/phrases that will be helpful as I work in the Dominican Republic. Yris is so friendly and I leave every class with a smile. I am so excited to work with her!

This was my second lesson with her, and she is a very charismatic person. I was so nervous at first, but a few minutes into the first lesson, I realized that I had nothing to worry about. I recommend her for beginners because she quickly assessed the approach that would work for me, and I can say that it is effective.¡Muchas gracias!

Yris is fantastic. She is sensitive to students' needs, helps evaluate the direction that lessons need to go, and is just a wonderful and caring person. I look forward to my lessons and trust that Yris knows best how to help me reach my goals. Conversation is always interesting and challenging. She mixes harder days with easier days, which is a good method to keep students from being overwhelmed. I can't say enough good things. She is an excellent teacher.
