My name is Tea, I am 31 years old (2025) and I come from Serbia, where I currently live - but I'm relocating to Sweden soon. I love travelling and I've been fortunate to have opportunities to visit many different places. I love food, books, video games, and animals (I have many pets).

I have a Bachelor's degree in Swedish, as well as ten years of teaching experience as of 2025. I have taught both privately and in various schools (most recently at Berlitz), worked with children and adults across a variety of levels, needs, and formality registers, both online and in person.
As someone who has learned other languages before, I've experienced all the obstacles myself, and we will overcome them together, and make it so you can reach your goals - no matter what they are. Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
Every learner is individual and we will address your needs specifically, but our focus will primarily be on communication and conversation, on helping you feel comfortable and confident expressing yourself in your target language, no matter your level.
Remembering things can be hard, so we will repeat as much as necessary until you don't have to think about it anymore, and I'll do my best to make it fun and memorable!
I have a tactful approach to error correction: making mistakes is a natural, necessary part of the process - but you never need to feel silly or stupid.

I have had a few Swedish lessons now with Tea, it's been going very well! I studied it for a while during COVID, but haven't used it at all in the years since. Tea has been helping me to recall the Swedish that I've forgotten, and also teach me new things that I missed first time around. I have been really impressed with her flexibility in that regard, as she has adjusted the pace accordingly. She is very knowledgeable, and happy to correct where helpful (but also allows conversation to flow). I must admit I was a bit intimidated about starting Swedish again, but Tea has been a brilliant cheerleader and is helping me to get back into the swing of things. I look forward to continuing lessons with her!
