Chi is a very skilled teacher who is accommodating to my needs, goals, and current abilities. I am Vietnamese so I already had some background, but Chi had me go back to the basics of the language which established a stronger foundation for what I already knew and for everything I’ve learned since. She’s also identified my bad linguistic habits and reshapes how I say certain things. Lessons range from casual conversation to structured grammatical learning which I appreciate for my learning style. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

Chi is the best Vietnamese teacher you will find. I taught myself for months and my progress was slow. Because of that, I decided to start learning with Chi. Since we started classes, my language ability has rapidly improved. What I like about her is that she adapts her teaching approach to her students' goals. She provides great encouragement and has made me more passionate about learning. I only wish I had started learning with her earlier. I highly recommend you study with her.

Chi est une professeure très pédagogue et patiente. J'apprécie qu'elle ne cède jamais à la facilité de me parler en anglais et qu'elle emploie majoritairement le vietnamien pour me faire progresser. I can't say enough fantastic things about Chi. I have been taking lessons with her for nearly 3 years and it has been a great decision. Chi has help guide me from a complete beginner to a more advanced level. Chi has taught many complex concepts, has helped with pronunciation, and helps improve listening skills. She is ways very encouraging and will adapt to your needs/requests as a student. I strongly recommend Chi, whether you are a beginner or simply looking for someone to improve your speaking with. Always have lovely lessons with Chi! Good balance of conversational practice + learning new vocabulary and structures. The homeworks are really helpful and Chi is very willing to adapt them to suit — I wanted more listening/writing practice so we did a new homework this week with video comprehension questions, which was fun!
