I’ve really enjoyed learning Korean with Dia and we’ve just finished chapter 7. She has been incredibly helpful throughout my Korean learning journey and has played a big role in building my confidence. Even after a break from lessons, she helped me get back into learning quickly and smoothly, allowing me to continue making progress. Her lessons are well structured and give plenty of opportunity to speak and form my own sentences , while she guides me in the right direction when needed and also gives helpful homework that goes over what we covered in the lesson. Dia speaks Korean at a level that is very easy for me to understand, she makes the lessons fun and we always have a good laugh, which makes them even more enjoyable. 디아씨 정말 감사함니다! 수업이 항상 재미있어서 저는 항상 즐겁게 공부해요. 선생님이랑 같이 수업하는 시간이 너무 좋아요. 앞으로도 계속 같이 공부하고 싶어요.

8과 끝냈어요! I've taken over 100 lessons with 디아님 now, and I am so grateful that I get to learn from her. She makes learning fun and encourages me to follow the language side quests that I like to go—things like creating special homework prompts for me (including writing dialogues between her cat and mine!) and sending recommendations for YouTube interview videos to watch. And I can't speak highly enough of both her as a teacher and a person! I had surgery a few months ago, and she was so supportive throughout the process, including checking in on me via iTalki chat. (And helping me with my texting in Korean too!) I genuinely look forward to each lesson with her, and I'm sad when I miss one. 디아님, 정말 감사합니다!!

For almost two years now, I've been taking lessons with 디아님, and I still can't believe how lucky I am to have her a teacher and a friend. For the past few months, I've been having health problems that have interfered with my ability to study the way I used to, and 디아님 adapted our lessons to help support me. She also is so generous with her time, providing feedback on sample sentences I write and sending recommendations for Korean dramas and movies to watch. (I have an evergrowing list! Her recs are perfect!) So even when I'm having a bad day, I ALWAYS look forward to our lesson. We just finished chapter 9 of her workbook (she is so creative—I love it), and I'm hoping to tackle chapter 10 with more energy. 친절이라서 진짜 감사합니다!!

After having taken lessons with Dia for about half a year now, I am very grateful to have her as my Korean tutor. With her uplifting personality and patience, I am able to comfortably practice the things I learn in the lessons and do some free talking as well. Apart from that, Dia teaches me some interesting things about the culture and how Korean natives actually speak, which you will not find in textbooks. I have now completed chapter 4 of her course and find myself using the grammar and vocab also outside of our lessons (e.g. when writing in my journal). I am very happy with my progress so far and look forward to many more fun and effective lessons with Dia^^

I’ve been taking Korean lessons with Dia for more than a year now, and I’ve really enjoyed learning with her. She explains things very clearly and always takes the time to make sure I understand the grammar rather than just memorising it. The lesson materials are very well prepared and I really like the way the course progresses. New grammar and vocabulary are introduced at a pace that makes sense, building naturally on what I’ve already learned without feeling rushed. There is also homework after every lesson, which I find really helpful for practising what we’ve covered. Dia always corrects it and gives feedback, so I can understand my mistakes and improve. I’ve really enjoyed my classes with Dia and I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress since I started. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a patient, clear and well-organised Korean teacher.

Just completed Chapter 4!! I’m so absolutely glad I took the leap into taking Korean, but even more so that I found 디아씨 as my teacher! She holds me accountable and sees my potential even when I still don’t see it in myself. She’s also so patient and guiding whenever I’m trying to understand a new concept. She’s an absolute amazing teacher and I look forward to learning each lesson!
