I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Masami. She was very patient and helpful with my pronunciation. She is a very good teacher, and I will certainly be booking more lessons.

I had my first class with Masami先生. She gave me a number of options to read from and I chose the most difficult one (the regular NHK news) maybe, but it was very good practice. She corrected my accent as we went. I tend to cut short long vowels or do the opposite, and I haven't really memorized the pitch pattern of words, so I have many things to correct and practice, but Masami先生 helped me practice and explained very clearly what I had to do with each word when I made a mistake. Thank you very much for the class.

Again, Masami sensei was very patient and kind, even when I didn't understand! We are now working from a textbook. I look forward to more excellent lessons with Masami.
