Bei Cai

Bei keeps my lesson memorable. Today’s lesson was excellent, she chose a topic I could truly relate to. I learned a term that’s easy to remember and use in real conversations. Being able to carry even one new term or one character with me each week feels plenty, meaningful and lasting.

I chose to challenge myself and discuss a topic that I knew was difficult for my level - but at the same time very interesting, and I am very happy to have been able to talk about this sort of complex things with Bei Cai. I knew it was gonna be difficult but I also knew that she'd be patient and help me and give me more tools to discuss this topic, just like she always does. Thank you once again!

Today's podcast lesson was fantastic! It is definitely a great way to practice my Chinese conversation skills, especially since I don't get many chances to speak it otherwise. Bei always starts the lesson with a light conversation about our life updates. She then transitions into the lesson, naturally integrating the topics, phrases, and vocabulary into our earlier discussion or expanding on them. I have plenty of opportunities to speak, though it is challenging to think of the right words in the moment. I appreciate that Bei always chooses interesting subjects so that I can relate to them, I’m able to share stories while practicing my speaking. Thank you, Bei!
