Hello! My name is Alessandro, and I come from the Dolomites, a beautiful region in northern Italy. Italian is my mother tongue, and I first completed studies in Translation in English, German, and Spanish at university, before also studying Italian as a Foreign Language at the University of Siena. This education not only gave me a deep understanding of language, but also showed me how essential culture, expression, and nuance are in real communication.
For the past 15 years, I have been living in Berlin, an inspiring and international city that has offered me many new perspectives on language and teaching.
Ich als Lehrkraft
After my studies, I worked for several years in Bolzano (South Tyrol) as a German and Italian teacher with learners of all ages. I gained valuable experience in creating engaging and effective lessons.
As a teacher, I see myself as a guide and motivator, helping students gain confidence and adapt lessons to their goals—whether fluency, exams, or cultural interest. I believe learning should be enjoyable and personal, so I create a friendly, motivating environment where mistakes are part of the journey.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
In my lessons, I mix textbooks like "Con piacere Nuovo" and "Allegro Nuovo" with authentic texts, videos, and audio. Classes balance grammar, vocabulary, culture, and the four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each lesson is tailored to students’ goals—conversation, exams, or culture—so learning feels relevant and practical. My interactive, dynamic style uses real examples, games, and discussions to make lessons enjoyable while focusing on accuracy and clear expression. Above all, language learning should be fun, motivating, and confidence-building.
