Profe José

This was my first time using Italki and I enjoyed it. Jose was filled with conversation and questions to get you talking. I need to work on listening and speaking. He was nice enough to write and help me to better pronounce the words but he did not make me feel like I was silly or anything. He is kinda funny to talk with.

buena segunda lección

Just finished an informal tudoring lesson with J Rios. He´s a good conversationalist, knows a lot about different areas of the world and is able to talk at length in an interesting manner. We did the whole lesson in Spanish.

Tuve una excelente primera clase con Profe José. Fue muy fàcil hablar con él, y también era interesante y extremadamente útil. ¡Gracias por un gran lección!

I had a pleasant first chat with José! I'm starting from very early in learning Spanish and he gave solid advice for how to proceed. Will be taking a minute to assess the path forward, but I expect to check in with him again in the future.

I do not recommend this instructor. During my trial lesson, he had connection issues and there was no video. Despite this red flag, I purchased a 5 class package. I attempted to book 2 classes with him and he cancelled both classes. I am new to the app and hit a wrong button and was charged for one of the classes. He refuses to provide a lesson that was already paid for or to refund the class. This is theft, as he took money for a service he did not provide. This was an extremely disappointing first experience using Italki. He had 3 chances and striked out on all 3. I have terminated my package and lost money for a lesson I did not receive.
