Maria is a wonderful teacher and one of the best I have had in any language. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Ukrainian. She have a very natural ability to understand your level, your needs, and your progress. She is empathetic to the challenges of the Ukrainian language and she takes you through them slowly and clearly. Her materials are really useful and her knowledge of the language's intricacies is second to none. Morever, she is always punctual, friendly, and so passionate about her students. Thank you Maria! I really enjoyed this lesson with Maria. She was very patient and I learned a lot of new words and their plurals!

Today we reviewed some sentences that I had written based on Maria's list of words and phrases from our previous lesson. Then we had a chat and Maria made more notes of the words and phrases that came up. I definitely need more practice speaking Ukrainian, and Maria is one of the very few teachers on italki who offers conversation practice to people at A1/2 level, so I'm very glad to have the chance to speak with her!
