Hi! I’m Victoria, and I’ve been teaching foreign languages for 12+ years. I have 2 degrees, one in Linguistics and the other in History of Arts.
Languages are my true passion, all my life has always spun around languages. I’ve had experience in learning Polish, Japanese, French and Hungarian. I used to be a full-time traveler and lived in many different countries, such as France, Italy, Hungary, Morocco and the Philippines.
Now I’m living in Moscow, sharing my apartment with 3 lovely cats.
I play several musical instruments and love public speaking. My other interests are architecture, social studies, different cultures, creativity, non-fiction, critical thinking, business & marketing.
First of all, I absolutely love my job, and I wouldn’t do anything else but teaching.
I love my students, love helping them and guiding them through the world of a foreign language. Nothing can be more rewarding than seeing my students’ progress!
I’m patient, energetic and cheerful. I always try to bring some humour into my lessons, because humour always helps to memorise better and to keep motivated.
I encourage my students not only to LEARN the language but to actually USE it as a tool for different needs. It's never too early to start reading and watching videos on the topics which truly interest you! I know it from my own experience, and I help my students to find interesting content.
I normally use a course book as a syllabus, to which I add my own study material.
