Hikari/ 光

I have been taking lessons with Hikari for a couple months now, and she is incredible. She is very fun to talk to and knowledgeable. She has made learning japanese much less scary. She is very kind and happy to help in every way possible. Often it feels more like I am talking to a friend than a teacher. My japanese has increased greatly, I look forward to my lessons every week. ありがとうございます

Hikari先生 is always so encouraging and helpful in our lessons! She constantly makes sure that I am able to follow along with what we are talking about, and if I am not understanding, she helps me fill in the gaps! She is always so supportive and leads the conversation in a way that I am able to work on a lot of the speaking skills I am trying to get better at! This was our eighth lesson together and I can absolutely say that having her as a conversational partner/tutor has immensely improved my speaking skills thanks to the supportive and fun environment that she fosters in her lessons. :)

I have been studying Japanese in a group lesson for a few years, but was lacking the opportunity to practice conversation for a sufficient period of time. Speaking with Hikari has given me the opportunity to practice my Japanese for an extended period. She is very patient and lets me finish my sentence and afterwards corrects my phrasing or individual words. The atmosphere she creates is relaxed and I enjoy being able to try and speak on a variety of different topics. This is my third lesson now and I like how much this is stretching me. I have lots to learn but when the process is fun it is so much easier. I am looking forward to my next lessons.

Hikari is such a wonderfully amazing conversation partner and teacher! Japanese feels very intimidating sometimes as an English speaker, but Hikari makes speaking and learning Japanese feel very fun and comfortable. I would definitely recommend her!

Hikari-san is always a delight! She is patient and encouraging, and always interested in learning new things while practicing conversation.

I love my lessons with Hikari. After a year in a language school where we sped through everything without any real practice, I finally have a chance to use what I learned. Hikari is very patient and has a nice easy way to explain the grammar that makes it very clear.
