Akane

In the past 4 years, I've had 90 teachers and 800 lessons on italki. Akane is my favorite. I keep putting off writing a review for her because I can't do justice to how great she is. Since we talked about perfectionism today, I'll try. Let me just list phrases that come to mind about Akane: -Encouraging -Asks good questions -Listens well -Gives good feedback -Smoothly switches between conversation and Japanese correction -Stunningly beautiful If she opens up to new students, you will be so lucky to have her as a teacher.

Akane-sensei is an incredible teacher who brings so much energy and kindness into her lessons! I think it's incredible that Akane-sensei can tailor the vocabulary that she teaches me to my personality and everyday life -- I'm always so impressed when I or her realise that I'm using words, phrases, and concepts that she taught me months ago.

あかね先生、いつもありがとうございます。 忘れちゃった日本語がこのリラックスの時間を経て段々復旧できるようになりました。 今日の回線が悪いでも色々面白いトピックについて話しました。大変満足です。先生はいつも優しく励んで頂いて、毎回も癒されました。 また次回を楽しみにしています。安定な体の状態を祈っています！

Akane-sensei helped me WIN a Japanese speech contest! When I told her months ago that I wanted to join, she was so incredibly supportive and has been my biggest cheerleader throughout all the preparations! It’s because of her kind, warm, and also firm coaching that I was able to give an incredible performance and win first place! This is truly the biggest milestone for me in my Japanese learning journey. Thank you Akane-sensei!

언제나 친절하고 밝은 모습으로 대화가 끊이지 않게 수업을 잘 이끌어주십니다. 여러 선생님들을 만나보며 처음에는 나에게 맞고 좋은 선생님과 아닌 선생님을 알기가 어려웠는데 지금은 한 번 수업듣고 알 수 있게 됐습니다. 앞으로도 오래 아카네 선생님과 수업을 이어갈 것 같습니다.

Really enjoyed my conversation lesson with Akane先生! We covered a variety of topics and she kept it fun and interesting. And she also helped me to learn & practice some new vocabulary as well. Would recommend!
