Mariana is simply put, the best. She is flexible, sharp, and always provides me with corrections and activities that are relevant to my job and challenge me. Every week I notice myself improving a little more, and my Spanish fluency becoming stronger. For reference, I am an advanced speaker (C1) and use Spanish in my work as a therapist with patients. Mariana integrates metaphor work, role plays, and psychology concepts for us to discuss and explore, all while strengthening my use of grammar. I have been on iTalki for many years and practicing Spanish for a long time, but I feel my Spanish has improved the most with Mariana. She makes it easy to grow and challenge yourself without feeling self-conscious and judgmental. I feel fully comfortable showing up to each class as my chaotic self, full of doubts and insecurities, and leave feeling more confident each time. THANK YOU MAR!!!!! Mariana is a really great teacher, she is patient and happy to answer any and all questions when they arise. Previously I could often feel embarrassed when speaking Spanish, but in my lessons with Mariana she creates a comfortable environment that has allowed me to become more comfortable making mistakes (which she always helps to me to identify) and therefore more confident when speaking. She’s organised with content but also happy to allow conversation to flow around topics in the lesson plan which makes for a more natural feel. I look forward to more lessons - thanks Mariana!

I've been working with Mariana for about 9 months now, and my Spanish has improved so much since I started working with her. She is so helpful and encouraging! I especially appreciate that she has good exercises, topics, and homework for advanced students (B2-C1), which can be hard to find on iTalki. However I would certainly recommend her for students of all levels :)
