Sanghoon

Today was my 10th and last session with Sanghoon before my Korea trip. Sanghoon was instrumental in helping me get prepared. Through our conversations, we were able to find the grammar and vocabulary I needed help with, and by writing down the sentences and vocabulary, which I could then study in flash cards, he really helped me build up those areas and develop my speaking. For 5 months I studied pretty intensely, 1 - 3 hours a day using various means, but I wish I had started with Sanghoon earlier in my journey. I was thinking to build up some foundation first through my individual study before using iTalki, but now I wish I had started sooner and more often to practice actually speaking what I was studying. I highly recommend Sanghoon to help you with your Korean language journey.

Friendly, patient, and I feel comfortable with the way he talks - It's calming and takes away my anxiety whenever I have such online Korean classes. So far, he's the most comfortable teacher and I enjoy his classes.

I have been taking conversation classes with Sanghoon for about two years now, but have been doing so regularly for over a month. Sanghoon is patient and encouraging, always finds interesting conversation topics when I am struggling, and gives me new ideas to improve my Korean. I am currently living in Seoul, and I can already see the improvements: I feel more confident and comfortable speaking Korean in my daily life and meeting Korean friends to have conversations. I cannot recommend Sanghoon’s conversation classes highly enough!!
