Hi, I'm Jordan, a native English speaker from the US. I've been teaching English on italki since 2022, and I love connecting with students from all over the world. I love traveling, new experiences, and learning new things, which is honestly part of why this work feels so natural to me. Every person I meet brings something different to the conversation.
I specialize in adults at an intermediate level and above (B1–C2). My students come for all kinds of reasons: job interview prep, business English, travel, or just wanting to speak without overthinking every word. Whatever your goal is, we'll build lessons around it.
Every class is different. I pull from photos, videos, articles, discussion questions, icebreaker activities, and real conversation topics, whatever sparks the best discussion. No two lessons feel the same, and that's intentional. The more variety you're exposed to, the more naturally your vocabulary and confidence grow.
We can be as flexible or structured as you prefer. Some students want a loose conversational flow. Others want more direction and feedback. Either way works.
I'm also learning Spanish myself, so I know firsthand what it feels like to know a language in your head but struggle to get it out. That makes me a better teacher.
