I live in Jaffa with my husband and our two cats. Alongside teaching Hebrew, I also work as a psychotherapist in a unique Israeli method called Satya—a practice I truly enjoy. I love listening to people and getting to know them, and that’s also what draws me to teaching Hebrew. As a teacher, I use a wide range of tools such as music, videos and games, and I build my lessons around my students’ interests. I use repetition in a way that helps the material truly settle and become natural, while keeping the learning process lively and engaging. It’s important to me to create a comfortable atmosphere, build real connection with my students, and adapt the learning style to what works best for each person. I teach Hebrew through exposure, repetition and real spoken language, without formal grammar instruction. We use natural phrases, everyday situations, songs and vocabulary that becomes familiar through use.
