Awesome first lesson with Igor! Even though I'm near zero in Portuguese, he still spoke it, and I felt comfy with it. It's a plus that he knows both English and Spanish, so it came in handy when needed, especially Portuguese vs Spanish aspects. He pushes me, in an encouraging, non-pressuring way, to try speaking Portuguese as much as possible. I really appreciated him not only for consistently giving verbal feedback, but also for writing feedback and for simply using the chat during the lesson and after it. He is a rare find; try him out. An outstanding teacher who is always well-prepared with a clear lesson plan. He provides helpful practice for outside of class, which has really accelerated my progress. Very professional and excellent for conversation practice. During lessons, he writes down the words and phrases I struggle with so I can clearly see them, along with better and more natural alternatives. He corrects mistakes when needed and consistently helps me improve how I speak. Extremely hands-on and supportive.
