Maki先生 is a fantastic teacher! She's very patient, and won't overly correct you if you make a mistake. She always shows interest in the conversation, and knows how to maintain a conversation even when you might feel stuck. Highly recommend if you're seeking to practice conversational skills.

I've been taking まきさんfor over 6 months now and always enjoy the learning environment she provides by making me speak lots and lots. she takes an interest in you and asks questions to make sure you practice output and grammar. would recommend for anyone looking for a kind and friendly teacher to help you improve in conversation.

I always enjoy the free form conversation, it’s good practice and I get experience speaking about many different topics. Maki always does a great job explaining a new word or grammar point. I definitely feel progress with my Japanese since taking lessons.

my first one-on-one lesson ever ~ まき先生 was lovely and kept the conversation flowing and understood my certainly broken japanese sentences with ease :) would recommend for casual conversation and a comfortable environment :)

いつものとようにレッスン楽しかった。時間は早く経った感じだった。本当に１時間けれど30分しかしません感じ。。マキさんとレッスンは自然っぽい、色々な話題いつも面白い、来週の宿題は映画を見る。
