I have taken around 15 lessons with Lily over the last 2-3 months. The classes were very beginner-friendly, as I was a complete beginner. She also presented interesting material, including videos on current events, which kept the lessons engaging and relevant. I am able to have conversations with Chinese speakers in Canada right now like shopping or going to restaurants. I also got feedback from Chinese speakers that my pronunciation was great as well which I probably got from Lily. I would recommend this teacher for anyone starting to learn Chinese.

Extremely warm and professional, knows how to get students comfortable, but also can clearly and concisely explain when confusion arises. 30 minutes feels like 5 minutes because the conversation is so well paced! And extremely patient! I feel like I already am learning just in the first lesson!
