Hello, my name is Eli and I'm an American from South Dakota, the Mount Rushmore state. I am 26 years old and I've always had an interest in culture and communication. Ever since I was in my second year of high school, I've been fascinated with the idea of traveling and meeting new people. I feel that helping people with their language goals brings me closer to my personal interests and I love the fact that I can teach on here from anywhere, whenever a student needs help. I think that everyone has something they want to share and I'd love to hear about it.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I am a very friendly and outgoing person. If you dislike more structured classes, I am flexible with how we approach learning. No two students are the same and I believe that efforts should be made to accommodate different interests and focuses.
If you struggle with something, don't get discouraged! We will work on it until you feel comfortable moving on. I believe that optimism is an important skill to develop.

In the past few months, I've noticed students tend to remember more of their classes when they learn organically. This inspired me to revise my teaching methods and develop a special curriculum. Students are encouraged to study grammatical patterns and their connections to other patterns. Then once they understand the pattern, they are asked to use it in more complex ways in both class activities and conversation. Students rapidly begin to not only understand more complicated sentences but also to have a sense of intuition so they can form new sentences on their own.
