Hello!
I'm Matteo, a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, with over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to people from all over the world. I studied Political Science and International Relations both here in my home country and in the Czech Republic.
I’ve been close to the world of language teaching since childhood, as my mother is a teacher herself. Long before receiving formal training as a teacher, I was already absorbing the craft subconsciously!

My methodology is unique to each individual. I invite you to be a co-architect in designing your study plan. Based on your needs, interests, and preferences, we will create a methodology that suits you—one where you not only learn but have fun while doing so.
I focus on creating deeply engaging lessons centered on conversation practice, using both academic and real-life scenarios. Matteo is very professional, engaging and interesting. He came prepared with the first lesson with a video for me to watch based on my bio that he had read so that we can discuss it. He gives me appropriate homework and helps correct my pronunciation and my grammar in a positive upbeat way. Matteo is interested in the world, has traveled a lot, is intellectual and it seems we can talk about anything. He is very positive and his accent is neutral and useful for me since I travel both to Spain and to Mexico (and hopefully soon to South America as well). I recommend him highly. He's on time, was flexible and understanding when I had computer issues on our first lesson, is patient, and just a pleasure to have as a teacher.
