Parla benissimo italiano e mi insegna in italiano, ho praticato portugesse con jônatas in 1 ora ma ho capito tutto. Lui è molto patiente.

I am so happy I found Jonatas! We have been meeting for the past couple of weeks and not only I am enjoying the classes, but I feel little by little have been learning and feeling more comfortable speaking (or at least trying to speak in Portuguese)
He is very organized and knowledgeable, his schedule is very flexible, and the has good materials during the class. Recommend for anyone looking to learn Portuguese!

I have been enjoying my lessons with Jonâtas. He is great a matching to my level of Portuguese and to my interests. We have been having in depth conversations about Brazil, Brazilians and Brazilian culture. He offers structure and input when needed and supports free thought and conversation. We laugh, learn and discuss current topics such as fun places to visit, food and life. I highly recommend Jonâtas. I have signed up for more lessons.

The first several lessons with Jônatas were excellent. He corrected mistakes with care, and he mixed grammar and vocab lessons with conversations in each lesson.
The last few sessions, however, he spent most of the time talking about the political scene in Brazil, and showing articles, websites, and Instagram videos about politics. While I'm not opposed to discussing politics, it seemed like he had a certain position he wanted to defend (I don't live in Brazil, so I'm not sure why), and more importantly, he didn't give me almost any space to practice speaking, which I explained in our first session was my main goal. I felt the time would have been much better spent conversing and engaging in evaluation and feedback.
I was very happy with Jônatas at the start, but I'm finishing the sequence of lessons disappointed.
