Welcome, language learners! I'm a teacher and language lover with over two years of English teaching experience. I have a degree in English Literature, so I love all things wordy! I am passionate about sharing knowledge and cultures through language learning and love meeting people from all around the world through teaching. I can't wait to work with you to help you achieve your goals and enhance your English skills! *I don't currently teach children - sorry!* I love helping students build both their confidence and their love of English through conversation. No two learners are the same so I adapt my lessons to each individual student, whatever their needs may be. My approach is empathetic and sensitive. Perfecting a foreign language is a real challenge so I try to ensure our lessons are enjoyable as well as productive. My goal is to make your learning experience both engaging and relaxed so you can have fun while your maximising the sophistication of your English, whatever your level. What do my lessons involve? Together we will work on: - Speaking skills - Comprehension - Pronunciation - Vocabulary - Confidence - Cultural awareness My lessons are informal but focused. Authentic conversation is the best way to improve your language level, so let's start achieving your goals now!

We started the conversation about the past Christmas time and read together part of a book that deals with historical events in England. Emma has a clear British accent. She has a great ability to explain the contents and meanings of sentences and excellent knowledge of literature and English words whether they are old or still a lot in use. Thanks again, Emma!
