After years of trying to find the right fit, I’ve recently completed my first 10 classes with Vandana and am thrilled with the results. Vandana provides an organized textbook approach to learning grammar, including examples and exercises, as well as other reading material and applied learning/practical exercises and notes. She’s also very committed and dedicated to teaching and student improvement. I couldn’t more highly recommend her as a teacher!

After trying several different teachers over the last few years, I have never felt my Hindi improve as fast as with Vandana. I will be sticking with her long-term. She is warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She knows how to design activities that address my specific problem areas, and she integrates our serious grammar study with our more casual conversations, so that I actually have a chance to apply the concepts I'm learning. My Hindi is much weaker in some areas than others, and a standard curriculum is not always the best approach. But Vandana always knows when I need a formal lesson, when a translation activity will do, and when I'm just forgetting to apply something I already know. Where other teachers have either insisted on perfect textbook Hindi or excused serious errors because my Hindi is "good enough," Vandana finds a perfect balance.

Vandana is my third Hindi tutor that I've tried (between Preply and Italki), and is the best by far. If you're looking for a real teacher, who knows grammar, sentence structure, and can explain why Hindi grammar is the way it is, she's the right fit! She has true teaching credentials (not just some easy online certifications that the vast majority of the tutors on these platforms have), and knows how to teach, not just talk for practice. I recommend her for anyone who wants to learn Hindi in a structured way, from a TEACHER, not just from a native Hindi speaker.

Today, we did some reading in class. The teacher uses various creative approaches to make the material very engaging, which helps me concentrate. I'm grateful for their patience in teaching me even though I keep making the same mistakes. I highly recommend this teacher to everyone.
