Alyona is amazing! Had my first lesson with her as a complete beginner, helped me get through the basics and some tough pronunciations. Can’t wait for the next lesson… Bring it on

Today we continued expanding the new topic we are learning and it continues to make me smile, I feel like the more I learn the more stuff falls into place and I gain a new understanding of stuff I’ve heard/read before that didn’t make sense to me. I always feel like I’ve made progress after a lesson 😊

Another great lesson with Alyona. She has a good understanding of my current level of ability, and more confidence in me than currently I have in myself - the sign of a good teacher. As always I have come away from this lesson feeling that I have made some progress. Very happy.

I just took my first lesson with Alyona. Ukrainian is my heritage language but is not a language I have kept up with over the years, so I felt nervous about my first lesson. Alyona's patient and kind demeanor helped ease my anxiety. I am looking forward to another lesson!
