- I grew up in Ålesund, on the beautiful west coast, but I lived in Bergen for 8 years.
- I have moved around a lot, and I am currently in Spain.
- My other passion apart from languages is dancing! I used to teach and perform hula hooping and belly dancing.
- I have worked in loads of different kindergartens.
I enjoy being creative and coming up with ways to make learning languages fun and engaging.

I believe comprehensible input is the most effective way to learn a language. I use Norwegian as much as possible in the lessons - even with complete beginners.
I create a lot of my own materials that I think are more suitable for online lessons. I also use a lot of native content like videos, tv shows and podcasts because listening is so important and will help you progress much faster. I am flexible and good at adapting to the student's pace. The lesson is for YOU - so tell me where you're at and I follow.

BASIC NORWEGIAN: All levels. I create my own materials and I use a lot of native content such as videos, articles, podcasts etc. Focus on natural conversation - from day 1!
CARTOONS (tegnefilm) (3 different levels)
Improve comprehension and build vocabulary by watching cartoons. Watch the cartoon beforehand + learn words from a pdf.
SAMTALETRENING (conversation practice):

Meine Probestunde war wirklich toll. Sie ist auch gleich eingestiegen und wir haben schon ein bisschen gesprochen (soweit es mir möglich war). Sie hat mir erklärt wie sie den Unterricht gestalten würde mit meinen Wünschen zusammen, so dass ich ein gutes Gefühl hätte mit ihr weiterzumachen

Anita is fantastic! She is very patient and encouraging and does a great job of assessing what materials are beneficial for my level of understanding. I am really enjoying learning Norwegian and feel encouraged to stick with it. I always look forward to my next lesson - and that motivates me to practice every day.
