Georges

Georges is calm and helpful so that I am not nervous when I talk. He gives me ample opportunity to express my thoughts, asks questions, helps me with vocabulary and grammar and writes corrections that I study later. Merci Georges!

Georges prompts students to talk about complex topics that benefit from sophisticated language, then helps them to clearly express their ideas. He is particularly good at offering just the right word or phrase for helping one express a thought. My French is considerable richer as a result of my lessons with Georges. And because thinking and speaking are interrelated, I think that Georges' questions and suggestions help me as much with reasoning as they do with expression. I thoroughly recommend his classes.

I can't believe my luck in finding Georges.  He was the very first tutor I booked on iTalki and I have been taking lessons from him ever since.  I tried other tutors but Georges was the best combination of professionalism, courtesy, punctuality, and intelligence. Our conversations range from culture, movies, science, politics, geography.. basically everything.  I also appreciate Georges' incredible patience.  I'm a stay-at-home with a cranky newborn and Georges has been very accommodating.  He constantly encourages me to speak.  For English-speaking beginners, Georges speaks English fluently. His help has been paramount to my progress.  I was barely able to string any sentence beyond the basic greetings. Now I speak more confidently (though admittedly still choppy) and am able to share my opinion on various topics. The fact that I've taken over 20 lessons with Georges speaks volumes.
