My name is Philipp and I am from Germany. Although I have a master's degree in business administration and engineering, languages have interested and accompanied me throughout my whole life. That's why I started teaching German many years ago, alongside my university studies and work. About five years ago, I decided to work full-time as a language teacher. In order to achive this, I successfully completed a one-year course at the Goethe-Institute for career changers. In my free time, besides studying languages myself, I also enjoy hiking, attending cultural events and discovering new places while travelling and on day trips.Ich als Lehrkraft
I really enjoy my job and love seeing my students improve their skills step by step and experience moments of success both in and outside of class. My students can be sure that I always show up to class with a smile on my face, that the lessons are carefully prepared and tailored to the needs of each individual student, and that I answer all questions during class with clear explanations and lots of patience. In my teaching approach, I place great emphasis on developing communication skills, which is why I give my students as much opportunity to speak as possible in my lessons, even if they are complete beginners. Of course, this does not mean that I ignore grammar, but rather that I see it as a tool for successful communication and therefore integrate grammar explanations and exercises into my lessons in a clear and structured manner. If the student wishes, I am also happy to set homework to consolidate what has been learned until the next lesson. I would like to highly recommend Mr. Philipp as your German teacher.
I find his teaching extremely interesting and inspiring and definitely want to continue learning with him. I wholeheartedly recommend this teacher to anyone with their own interests and a passion for European culture and music.

We discussed the coming schedule of learning plan and made brief discussion. Mr Philipp is an experienced Goethe teacher. He is adaptive and friendly. The class vibe is open to talk and learn. And everything is fine tuned as I expected. I highly recommend to learn with him.

I am felling great with Philipp. He is extremely flexible and patiently instructing me. He provided clear explanations for some very tricky and challenging problems I encountered. He also carefully arranged the lessons for the following week. His classes are always positive and supportive, and the interactive conversations in class give me great confidence to communicate. I really like this teacher and highly recommend him.
