Kru Om is an extremely effective teacher. I have done both his “Thai Starter Pack” and “Conversation for Life Lessons.” In the “Conversation for Life” course, Kru Om maintains a perfect balance between having relaxed, fun conversation practice while pausing to clearly explain language structures, vocab, or particularities about the language. In every lesson we find at least one or two things I take from them to improve my Thai. The “Thai Starter Pack” is also an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to learn to read Thai Script. His step-by-step approach to the written language is better than anything you will find on the internet. By the end of the course, you will be able to start reading Thai, albeit slowly at first. I have taken hundreds of hours of classes in three languages and can assure you that Kru Om is a top tier language teacher.

As an online language teacher myself, I was very impressed. K. Om's pronunciation is clear and he provides clear instructions. I've only had 1 class with him so far but from what I can tell, he teaches the way I like to be taught. Above all... he listens attentively and is able to answer my questions about hypothetical scenarios.

I've been stuck just below a conversational level for a while and Om has really helped push me to a point where I'm more comfortable speaking Thai in everyday situations. We do mostly conversation practice but when I have a question about grammar or vocabulary or he notices where I'm making mistakes, he helps me work on all of that. He's able to explain confusing things in a simple way and gives clear examples so I can continue to practice on my own between lessons. Still have a long way to go, but I'm really happy with the progress I'm making. Very good teacher.
