I’m happy to see you in my profile!
My name is Valentina and I am from Barcelona. Currently living in New York.
Catalan and Spanish are my native languages. I love teaching and helping students in their language journey. Teaching is a pure joy for me. I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language but we can make it easy together!
As a teacher, I always start with the conversation is the most effective way to learn a language because it allows you to interiorize the concepts better.
I like to listen my students and promotes the learning of new vocabulary, listening, speaking and making mistakes. We will focus on what you specifically need, so you can get the best out of each class.
The learning environment will be friendly and comfortable, so you don't feel any pressure while practicing.
My lessons are dynamic and I also provide the students with all the necessary material adapted to the needs of each one: interactive activities, books, tests, games or audio books. In my lessons we will focus in what’s really important to know about the language and depending on the level and interests of each student.
In the first lesson we will discuss about your experience learning the language as well as your weaknesses and strengths, so we can plan the following classes. We will talk about any topic you like and I will be right by your side to help you improve any area you want: reading, pronunciation, writing, listening.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
