Hallo! I’m Stacy and I live in Suriname. The official language in Suriname is Dutch, but more than 10 languages are spoken here.
I graduated from high school in architecture and also work in an architectural firm, but besides my work, I have always had a passion for language and communication and music.
When I’m not working or teaching, you’ll find me baking *koekjes*, doing arts and crafts or hiking while enjoying nature🌿. I aslo love to spend time with my family and loved once.Ich als Lehrkraft
As a teacher, I am patient, positive and motivating. I believe learning should be fun.
It is important to me that my students feel at ease, so that they dare to talk and make mistakes - because that is part of learning! I always say to laugh it off, it helps to make the learning experience more fun.
I listen carefully to what my students need, and adapt my lessons to their level, interests and learning goals.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and practical.
We focus on articulation, pronunciation and conversation.
I like to use interesting topics such as culture, everyday situations, hobbies or current affairs to make the lesson interesting and fun. Here and there, i'll throw in a fun exercise.
No need to worry if you make mistakes - in my class there is no pressure, only room to grow.

Bachelor - ArchitectureI studied Architecture and Building Engineering at Natin.
The focus of my studies was on designing and constructing buildings, including both the technical and creative aspects of architecture.
I learned about building design, construction methods, materials, structural drawing, and how to bring architectural ideas to life through planning and technical accuracy. Both English and Dutch were a part of my studies.
