Hi everyone! I'm Georgia from London, UK. I’m an experienced English teacher who loves helping students reach their goals, whether that’s preparing for Cambridge exams, improving their conversational English or boosting their overall confidence.
I lived and worked in Yiwu and Suzhou in China for three and a half years, and in the Andalucía province in Spain for four years in which I supported many students in building the skills and the courage to use English in real-life situations.
Since I also speak Spanish, I get how challenging it can be to learn a new language. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy going on hikes, doing yoga, or practicing the keyboard (my new year's resolution for 2025!)
Ich als Lehrkraft
I’ve been teaching English both in classrooms and online for 8 years, and in 2021, I earned my CELTA certification—a globally recognised qualification for teaching English. Over the years, I’ve gained a solid understanding of ESL teaching methodologies, allowing me to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.
For the past 4 years, I’ve specialised in preparing students for their Cambridge exams, helping them achieve success with tailored strategies and a focus on key exam skills like speaking, reading, writing and listening. Before that, I taught the International Baccalaureate programme for 3 and a half years.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My teaching approach is student-centered and flexible, adapting to each learner’s unique needs, goals, and interests. I aim to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
