I’m a certified TEFL/TESOL educator fluent in *both* Afrikaans and English, with hands-on experience teaching beginners (Grade 1 English) and intermediate learners (Grade 4 Afrikaans).
Leadership is second nature to me—from being a primary school prefect to making history as my high school’s first solo female head girl, managing teams and fostering confidence. Now, I channel that same dedication into helping students master languages with clarity and enthusiasm.

I've obtained my TEFL/TESOL at : TEFL Universal. I'm an experienced educator assistant as i assisted a grade 1 English class and grade 4 Afrikaans class at a primary practical school.

Ms Ruche is a stellar tutor here on italki and I highly recommend that you book a lesson with Ms Ruche if you have an interest in learning Afrikaans. I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson and I will definitely book another lesson soon. I learned a lot from Ms Ruche in our first hour long session and I am excited to book my second lesson.
