Hi Everyone, My name is Katja and I have been teaching languages German for over 4 years now, both groups and individuals. I also gained experience at Berlitz, an international language school focusing on communicative lessons. I am passionate about language teaching and learning, I enjoy getting to know new people, cultures and perspectives and I currently study Social Integration, so any topics related to the society are always welcome:) One of my main hobbies are board games, but I also adore spending time in the nature with my dog or finding time to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot tea.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I pay lots of attention to my students and encourage them to talk as much as possible. I manage to create an atmosphere where you can feel free to make mistakes which we are going to adress gently and in a way where you can learn from them, noticing and correcting mistake patterns.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

My classes are very communicative, with me asking you lots of questions and discussing videos and articles we look at/read together. I also try to use as much of German as possible, often decribing the unknown words in a simple and understandable way - but of course, if you need help, you can always ask me in English, Hungarian or Russian. :)
