Before class I was despondent with the lack of progress with my language skills, and I explained these feelings to Candy about my doubts. Knowing this, Candy, being the excellent teacher that she is, gave me a series of phonetic drills to build up my confidence (which it did). Then she introduced new material as well as reviewed some previous material. With my confidence restored, I am encouraged to study more diligently. Thank you, Candy Sensei!!
