Hi, I'm Hyungmin, a native Korean currently living in Seoul.
I lived in China for five years, where I worked and studied the Chinese language and met people from many different countries.
I hold a Level 2 Korean Language Teaching Certificate and have taught Korean for over 1,000 hours in the past two years.
I also work as a Chinese-to-Korean translator specializing in education, which gives me deeper insight into language learning. Having learned Chinese and English as an adult, I understand the challenges learners face — and how to overcome them. This journey helps me teach Korean in a clear and relatable way.Ich als Lehrkraft
I’ve mainly taught Korean online to students from various countries.
Over the past two years, I’ve accumulated over 1,000 hours of teaching experience.
Thanks to working with such a wide range of learners, I’ve developed a deep understanding of different cultures and learning styles.
To me, learning a language isn't just about memorizing words and grammar — it's also about understanding the culture behind it.

All of my lessons are tailored to each student’s needs.
If you want to study specific topics, prepare for an exam, or build a solid foundation in Korean grammar, I use structured textbooks and provide clear, detailed explanations.
If you're more interested in free-talking or learning through videos and real-life materials, I design customized lessons based on your interests and goals.
In my experience, beginners and intermediate learners often benefit from using textbooks (that might sound dry, but we'll make it really interesting in class)

Today,We learned about subject markers, and I was still confused between subject markers and topic markers several times. But Teacher Hyung Min was very patient and explained clearly until I finally understood. I’m really happy to learn with him because even when I forget or get confused, he never puts pressure on me.
