Sofiia is a great teacher :) We've had 10 lessons so far and i've learned a lot, we read short stories and translate them together, she asks me questions about them and helps me answer correctly. We often talk about events in my life and she helps me discribe and articulate them in Ukrainian. We talk about various topics ranging from family life to cities to travel and food. I hope to have more lessons in the future and I can tell my Ukrainian skills have improved a lot since starting lessons with her on italki :)

Heute hatte ich eine Doppelstunde mit Sofiia gehabt und die Zeit ist wieder mal sehr schnell vergangen. Sie hat mir viel über die Ukraine erzählt und hat mir mit einem Projekt geholfen. Sie hat dabei auch absolut keine Probleme sich auf deutsch zu verständigen, weil sie die Sprache fließend spricht. Herzlichen Dank nochmal 😊

That was my first conversation with Sofia and it went really well. I made many mistakes which she patiently corrected and explained the grammar to me. I was a bit nervous to begin but I need not have been. I‘m looking forward to the next time.

Another amazing lesson with Sofiia, we discussed generational differences and attitudes to working life. It is extremely helpful that Sofiia is able to quickly switch between German, Ukrainian, Russian, and English. I highly recommend booking a class with her.

The second lesson with Sofiia was great, haven't spoken so much german in a while :)
