Hi, my name is Aleksandra (Ola). I live in the village in North-East Poland, near to the Lithuanian border. There are many forests, wolves, elks, storks, beautiful lakes and rivers. I live in a simple way based on ecological responsibility in a small traditional wooden house. I love gardening, I have a vegetable & herb garden and small orchard. Many visitors from all around the world come every Summer to stay with me as volunteers (workaway). My lifestyle reflects the values I bring to teaching: authenticity, patience, and connection. I am online Polish tutor for private classes since 2022.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I’ve worked with students from Ukraine, Belarus, Australia, Great Britain, the United States and more. My students usually fall into two groups: - people who live and work in Poland and need Polish for everyday life and B1 cerificate exam. - people in relationships with Polish speakers — partners, spouses, fiancés who want to communicate better with their Polish families Most of my students start from A0 level and I guide them step-by-step toward fluency. My background & approach: - graduate of the Academy of Special Education - trained in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language and Testing and Certification - experienced in working with students with dyslexia and special needs.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I adapt lessons to the individual needs of the student. I use textbooks and also add my own materials, films, authentic texts, recordings and discuss current events. I assign homework for those interested. You can contact me between lessons. After each lesson, I send all materials and recordings for repetition.
