Miss Kane

Great first lesson! Miss Kane was well prepared to assess where I am starting and I appreciated her inclusion of advice on cultural norms and etiquette.

Fantastic teacher for my 4-year old son. Spoke in full Tagalog in simple language and got him speaking. Exactly the immersive type of lesson I’ve been looking for. All other teachers we tried spoke far too much English. She has really fun interactive sessions tailored to my son’s interests. Perfect teacher for us!

Great verbal practice with corrections as needed. Putting the lessons into practice is very helpful.

This was my first introduction tagalog class with Miss Kane. I like her style of teaching. She was prepared, professional, easy going and had a sense of humor. She also gave me feed back and was encouraging. I ended up booking 10 lessons.

I have had five amazing lessons with Miss Kane. As someone currently completing a Master of Teaching and who has met many teachers, I can confidently say she is one of the best teachers I have had. She is incredibly well organised and interactive in her teaching. She constantly checks in to make sure I understand the content and makes every lesson engaging. She also remembers the stories I share and often connects them back to the lesson, which makes the learning feel very personal. I will continue to have may lessons with her. I can’t recommend her enough :)

Miss Kane has a great balance of technical explanation followed by time to practice with samples and then with conversation. She has always welcome my questions too.
