Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Szia! Hallo!
From my childhood i always loved to be in different countries, meeting new people and try to learn their languages. I lived in Germany, Hungary, Spain and for a short period in China. Very happy to meet new people from all over the world and support them learning my native language Dutch.
Al in mijn jeugd hield ik ervan om in andere landen te zijn, nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en nieuwe talen te leren. Ik heb in Duitsland, Hongarije en Spanje gewoond, en een korte tijd in China. Het zal me heel veel genoegen geven om hier ook nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en mijn eigen taal Nederlands te onderwijzen.Ich als Lehrkraft
The most important for me is to understand why you want to learn Dutch and what goals you wish to reach. You, as the student, are central in my considerations. Together we will find the right path, speed and methods to reach it. For sure i value the use of a lot of talking about everyday situations.
I am here on Italki as a teacher since more than 2 years now and already successfully finished more than 3100 classes. From April 2026 i will generally be available on most days of the week from 10.30 till 19.00 hrs (NL time) Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons will suit maximumly to your situation and needs. We will use the right mixture of text, podcasts, news articles, homework exercises and focus on conversation and pronunciation. Marcel is the best teacher I have ever had. He is always ready to explain with a lot of interesting and clear examples. I suggest you to have a trial lesson with him, if you really want to learn easily the Dutch language.

After spending just a few hours with Marcel, I completely understood why the reviews are so positive. He really knows where you stand and can quickly recognize what you need. I always look forward to every lesson. I wish I could skip work and do his lessons instead.
