I’m now onto my third lesson with Even. I am feeling more and more confident with each lesson. After a quick catch up we reflect and build on previous lessons with tailored homework which really helps to consolidate knowledge. While slowly adding new topics that are challenging enough but not too challenging, at a rate that feels comfortable. He teaches a nice blend of real-world conversational Norwegian while also emphasising the importance of learning the correct grammar and grammatical rules. Even is always checking whether or not I am comfortable with the pace and difficulty of the learning. I am surprised by my progress in such a short space of time and look forward to my lessons. 10/10

Even is a great teacher who's able to evaluate my current level and provide materials suitable for my level, instead of following a rigid textbook structure. We discuss topics that are interesting and challenging. He also gives practical feedback that can be applied outside of our lessons.

Even has been fantastic - very patient, communicative, and supportive as a teacher. I've learned a lot of new vocabulary from him (some of it being at C-level) which I feel more comfortable applying in conversation. He also gives fun and thoughtful homework assignments that are optional but extremely valuable. I really do feel like I'm preparing for real-world conversations rather than just doing simple textbook-style studying. Overall, he has helped me significantly in my pursuit of fluency and I would strongly recommend him!

I've really been enjoying my lessons with Even. He listens to the student's needs and plays to their strengths. Sometimes, teachers can be overly focused on progressing through a curriculum, such that they move past concepts before the student has sufficiently mastered them. What I found with Even is that he is patient, taking the time to linger a while on something on which I still clearly struggle, approaching the challenge from different angles until it "clicks." Once I gain that clarity, we move on to something new. This strategy not only works but builds a more solid foundation and greater confidence in speaking Norwegian.
